Okay man this was it. My stuff definitely. Though I do have some critism about my stuff. The absurd horror was amazing but the pacing was just bad. Not because of the absurd horror but because the dialogue was very chunky, characters were poor and some situations made no sense. Their friend is screaming in the top of their lungs and they're just going there without any emotion. Could be the acting too. The dialogue didn't support the pacing well. After the first act the film had literally no dialogue and the film was just absurd horror all around. Don't get me wrong I'm all for absurd horror but I think this film didn't have anything else going. No dialogue, barely any character interactions just these demons in every corner. What's great? A lot. I mean I wouldn't have given this 4 star rating if it wasn't great. I'm extremely taken away by the directing. Raimi did an incredible job. The close up shots, moon shots and angles were all shot with such talent. Sam Raimi you're amazing. And the Raimi glaze doesn't stop there. His special effects were incredible for its budget. The gore was just immaculate. Really just great. First act was by far the best. I think the tension in this act is so well done. It's slow but it's tense. Every tense scene is like 4 minute long even though normally in horror films they're way shorter. In this act I was considering a 4.5 star rating. The atmosphere is so Friday the 13th cloned. It's so spooky and eerie. The 80s cabin vibes. I LOVEH IT! Evil Dead was so good. Definitely gonna check out Evil Dead 2. **7.5**

BAAHAHAHHA. Evil dead 2 is hilarious. People don't realize how hard it is to make a film like this. Even though you might be like "ahh its just messing around" nah this guy Sam Raimi actually managed to pull absolute perfect pacing on a film like this. Yall dont realize that its hard to have amazing pacing in this absurd of a horror film. Normally you're like half way though and like what am I watching. But this film manages to make you be interested in what you're watching throughout making this film actually a talented work of horror cinema. Like there's non stop action and barely any dialogues and just dumb stuff happening but the fast camera work to make the film as entertaining as possible makes this film that good. SAM RAIMI KNOWS HOW TO BE A DIRECTOR! This is a unique piece of cinema. Since this kind of horror wasn't that popular in the 80s, Sam Raimi managed to pull a pretty original piece of work making this standout. This film is actually a comedy and I don't even know if its even horror anymore. I was the only one in the room of my mom and dad to actually like this absurdity. They both hated this film. The evolution of Ash is sooooo goood. Like he really went from a little chicken to a badass. Like they actually gave him so much character he pretty much carried the whole film in his back. The gore once again is so fun. Like the practical effects do not disappoint. Blood splattering everywhere like literally a blood bath scenes like in The Shining or something. The monsters are so well done and this film just don't disappoint. Whoever's favorite horror film this is, I respect that. This film was just top-notch. Like actually. **8.7**
