it’s just a bit of fun.this movie was ART. I don’t think I have the words right now to describe how much I loved it and why I loved it, but I did…and a lot.
kristen stewart is a fucking gem. I literally do not care what anyone says, she played that part so well. everything about her performance made me feel something, I just wanted to reach out and hug her. I didn’t expect it to be a psychological thriller, but it definitely was and it was amazing.
I think the fact that I went in blind after seeing only half the first trailer made the experience all that more enjoyable. the music!! the sound design!!!!! I mean the camera flashes in that one scene were so loud that it genuinely made me cringe into myself in the best way possible!!
Everything was so deliberate and it really showed how much attention and care was put into each scene. the way i audibly gasped when they were outside the church and camilla’s pearl necklace was peeking through her neckline, i mean it must have been one or two pearls but i felt the heaviness of that simple detail so much so that I wanted to scream. Anne Boleyn ??? the P.O.W tags ????? MAGGIE!!! I will be watching it again and there’s nothing anyone can do to stop me.
