God. This was traumatizing. And to be honest i don’t even know what to say but after sitting with it for a while, the thing that personally stayed with me was Selma’s way of holding herself together. She doesn’t fight the world or try to explain herself. She just keeps it all inside and her love for sound and music keeps her going in fact acts as her coping mechanism. That felt painfully fascinating and real to me.
