Little Fish
So i didnt expect anything from this film. I just saw the poster and thought it was pretty cool and decided to watch it, but I ended up getting way more emotionally involved than I thought I would. This movie doesnt try to be loud or special, it shows a very genuine and tender side of a relationship. It's filled with small gestures in a mundane life and with time you grow so fond of them that it hurts even more when you see them slipping away. Even the music and cinematography also don’t fight for attention, which carries that feeling even further.
The acting is so quiet that I’m honestly surprised more people don’t talk about it. Jack and Olivia have such a natural chemistry. A lot of the nuances live in the small looks between them. And thats why it feels more personal and devastating.
