A grounded and realistic psychological thriller which keeps you seated till the last minute.

> **இன்னைக்கும் என்னைக்கும், ஒரு தலைவன்தான். 🛐📈‼️** An out and out *Mass Commerical Entertainer* which is helmed well by the captain of the ship - **Nelson Dileep Kumar**. Writing dark comedy is an *ART* and it seems like Nelson had mastered in it. Excellent writing, great direction elevated by outstanding music by our own *ROCKSTAR*, as always. For the first time in quiet a while, we praise the director of the film more than Anirudh and that means the film is a **WINNER** already. Each and every cameos work well and are placed properly blending with the need for them in the plot to move forward. Both *Ala Bolelo* and *Bindass* were unnecessary, they could've easily trimmed both the songs and could've given more screentime to Mohanlal and Jackie Shroff to strengthen their character depth. Although, Bindass is fun to watch while Ala Bolelo is irritating. **A GREAT THALAIVAR PADAM** after nearly almost a decade or even more. ***Jailer 2 > Jailer 1***

A chaotic, poetic, beautiful, soulful film which never really reaches it's complete potential due to it's uneven execution in writing of scenes and few dialogues as well. The music is aging like a fine wine and it'll be even more celebrated in the coming years as well. Not a masterpiece, not a magnum opus, it's just a film which has it's heart in the right place but doesn't deliver it fully and maybe that is the reason why I love the film - it's poetic, chaotic and beautiful even if it is deeply flawed, it's honest to what it is.
