♡        *you think you're tricking me?             you're the one being tricked.* ୨ৎ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀        ⠀:¨ ·.· ¨: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀          ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ `· . ꫂৎ ⟡ ﹒⋆ ݁ what a film! took me 2 days to finish and honestly, some of the themes definitely flew over my head — i absolutely need to watch a breakdown / analysis video because i'm quite worn out. it's almost 3 hours long but i was so intrigued and engaged pretty much the whole time — i kept thinking to myself "this is generational conning" lol i think i'll try to re-visit this in the future so i can appreciate everything — but i think even then, i think it's such a fantastic exploration of queerness & sexual autonomy  — i was honestly a bit turned off at the ending of the 1st act and beginning of the 2nd one but it all wrapped up amazingly and i become more and more invested as i kept watching. it was so so perfect ㅤ♡  i'm honestly a bit disappointed this wasn't directed by a woman because a lot of parts resonated with me a lot — but nonetheless it was fantastic. also also, this was my first park chanwook so i'm excited to visit his other films as well !
