Dune: Part Two
Without a doubt the best cinematic experience of my life and one of the greatest movies EVER made. Everything this film attempts is excecuted beyond perfection.
Hans Zimmer’s(interns) score is fucking phenomenal whenever that one fucking evil ass riff comes through I lose my shit.
Typically at movies this length I start to wonder if it will end yet around the 2 hour mark. For Dune 2 there was a point around that time where I dreaded nothing more and every cut to black had me scared I did not want this shit to end until it did, it ended at the perfect point. The ability to make a character played by Timothee Chalamet come off as genuinely powerful and almost intimidating in some scenes is president to how astonishing Denis Villeneuve is as a filmmaker.
This movie offers hope in life that things are never as bad as we think, movies are not getting worse, the next generation of actors are phenomenal and will pioneer cinema to an arguably greater level than ever before. I’ve seen the vision.
