Fallen Angels
“As I was leaving, I asked if he’d give me a ride home. I hadn’t ridden on a motorcycle in a long time. Actually, I hadn’t been that close to anyone for a while. The road wasn’t that long and I knew I’d soon be getting off. But at that moment, I felt such warmth.”
MY GOSHHHH THIS MOVIE NEVER DISAPPOINTING ME 🤩🔥💚
Wong Kar-wai leans heavily into mood with neon lights, distorted angles, and voice-overs that sound like unfinished thoughts. it’s less about understanding everything and more about feeling lost alongside the characters. this movie is messy, stylish, and emotionally distant in a way that feels intentional ^^
well, we can see that everyone seems disconnected, always close to someone but never truly with them. this captures that quiet ache of wanting connection while being unable to reach it. it’s sooo cool, sad, beautiful, and strangely funny at times. always in love with Fallen Angels forever xoxo 🫶🏻
