Aftersun

What a brutal watch. Felt like a knife got jabbed into me and twisted in all directions. The movie is quiet and painful, no moment where anything crazy happens but the moments that matter are all spread throughout the movie. The movie really helps you build that relationship with Calum and Sophie and then it just… ends and you’re left there with nothing but the black screen and your thoughts.
