A four part epic movie, first released as a mini series on Doordarshan then later bought by History TV18. The thing is I can't really describe the beauty, I think I'm not capable of it. Many of the reviewers (light years better than me) had put their all in explaining this masterpiece.
I can just say it's the most authentic, brutal yet the most realistic take on the 1947 India Partition. The film will shake you till the very core, left you wondering about all the social enigmas and hits even hard successfully establishing the fact that all these problems are still here, after these 70 years. The movie hits the peak in every aspect in my opinion, so I'll not talk about all of them individually. Still it's really underrated and deserves more discussion. I watched this a way back as a school activity and revisited it today (all the parts). And it's still as magnificent as ever. I just don't want to undersell it.
