Pretty good with a weak ish conc but tbf it's a trilogy so you can't judge that to harshly and the slow beginning Wass needed to lore dump so much the early mid to late mid was really the peak of the movie also I had amin to explain all the Confusing stuff so it was easy to digest

I can't write a review for this movie anything I write won't do it justice one of my favourite movies I've watched. This is one of those types of movies where you need to sign up to the rules in the movie and immerse yourself into it.I don't think I have any criticism for this movie and it is nothing short of a genuine masterpiece . I really can't express how much this movie made me feel and if I tried writing it down it'd diminish my feeling towards it  This would be my favourite film of all time if not for farewell my concubine and its just by a slim margin honestly.

I think it's kinda baffling how such a beautiful movie can have such a shit story. One dimensional characters horrible artstyle for the characters super slow in the last 3 quarters and the ending didn't feel like a logical conclusion and their is only so many times you can have super emotional scenes .The first 20 minutes clickbait you with beautiful landscapes and then trick you into watching slop for an hour.

I think this would have just been so much better if it got rid of the pedophilia and also all the foot fetish stuff like in the final scene where they're both crying and we just get a close up shot of her feet genuinely took me out visually one of the best movies ever tho if you were deaf and coudnt read subtitles and skipped the feet shots this would be a 10/10 deffo should have been longer
