About Time

I went into to this film based off the trailer and poster that this was gonna be another typical rom com. Given a really damn good rom com, but I wanted to know why this film was so beloved by everyone, and I have the answer. This isn't a romance comedy in the sense boy meets girl and they fall in fall in love. This is a romance film about life. After watching this film you will romanticize every single part of your life no matter how shitty or unbelievably beautiful it is. This film makes you realize that you only have one life to live, so you might as well live it. This was definitely a film that I needed to watch in my current state. Recently I've been faced a lot of obstacles personally that have made me a bit sour and frustrated. This film made me let all of that shit go and realize that I'm 22 years old who's still in college. I haven't even seen any bit of the world, so why was I wasting my time with these frustrations and obstacles when they are leading me in the right direction. Life has a way of having thing come together and making sense somehow, and I look forward to wherever I am headed and as my once confusing and frustrating obstacles and set backs will make sense very soon. This was one of the most narratively beautiful stories that I have genuinely encountered in any medium. Once you watch this film you will be such a happier person. This is the type of films that changes your bad habits and will bring so much life and amazing people into your life because you will have such a positive mindset after watching this. When you're feeling in a rut and frustrated, this is the film that will make you appreciate anything and everything around you
