La La Land

I'm always gonna love you. > I'm always gonna love you too. Damn This was probably the most bittersweet film since I saw 花束みたいな恋した (We Made a Beautiful Bouquet) for the very first time. I mean they are essentially the same story at heart. Sometimes for you to achieve your dreams, you have to sacrifice and let go of things that you love. Holy shit this is probably the best shot film I have ever seen. Wow holy shit God damn. The camera team did an absolutely unbelievable job. Like I was absolutely mesmerized by the camera movement and the coordination with the dancing. Holy shit I've never ever seen something like this before in any other film I have seen. Camera team deserves every single award that they were nominated for because holy fucking shit. The one takes were executed absolutely perfectly, I can't imagine what it must've been like to film it during production. Wow and the color in this film was so fucking amazing too. Holy shit set dec and costuming absolutely cooked with the design of everything. I'm sure every use of a color meant something, but I was too mesmerized by camera to figure it out. I loved the use of color lighting as well. The neon lights were used so well and set the scene for what was to come.
