Wolf Children
Holy shit. God bless mothers. God bless my mom. Thank you for everything y'all do. The sacrifices, passions given up on, and time spent on taking care of your kids should never go unnoticed. All of the little things that you guys do, the little things that you do that makes us who we are. Incredible. Watching this made me feel so bad and guilty for all of those times that I've acted like a little shit to my mom not understanding the shit she had to go thru just for me, and only me since I'm the only kid she ever had. I honestly had to pause the film and take a moment that I needed to be more grateful for my mom and her being in my life. That kinda made me feel like a bit of an asshole since I didn't have that sort of thought in a long long time. For that I feel so guilty, and I will never make that mistake ever again. Every second that your mom is alive is so finite and fragile that you need to enjoy all of the time that you have with your mother truly.
This film was really transcendent for me and like a huge realization in my thinking and mindset. I will always be grateful for films like this that give me these moments that take me back to reality.
Anyway to the film, absolutely beautifully crafted my god. The story is absolutely unbelievable as we see the kids grow up with a single young mother. My god the hardships that she has to go thru are fucking nuts, and is something I could never imagine myself going thru at all. I just wanted to give the mom a hug and tell her she's doing great for her current situation. My god this film tugged on my god damn heart strings.
The animation as well is so beautiful. The city to the mountains and the house and the school. They all looked really beautiful.
Seriously after watching this film you will be crying to your mom and thanking her for everything that she has ever done for you.
お母さんどもありがとうございます for everything 🫶🫶
