A Clockwork Orange
This movie had some of the best cinematography I have ever seen, the lighting and camera work were truly outstanding. The score in this movie really elevated every single moment that cements some of them to be undoubtedly iconic.
Every single one of the actors gave a highly impressive performance, not one of them felt out of place given the ridiculousness of how cartoonish some of the characters are. Especially combining Stanley Kubrick’s directing and Malcolm McDowell’s stellar acting absolutely makes Alex one of the most evil and heinous character in fiction.
Though I had two biggest complaints in this movie, the first one is that after Alex is released from prison, the movie felt aimless, it kind of felt absurd how every single person he encounters right after going out were people he wronged, it just felt too coincidental for me to believe. The second one would be how some scenes felt too much telling and not showing, which is odd because Stanley Kubrick is always known for his movies having thousands of meanings put in a single scene for each and every one of his films.
