man i hurt for nikki that whole time. bear ruined her life no matter what and has to deal with his selfish actions. obviously he didn’t know it was real, but you’d think he would’ve thought more about what the lady selling it to him said. he was so delusional caught up in his own fairytale that he kept looking past how nikki. what a pig. crazy when you remember that she literally gave him a chance to confess his feelings. i almost forgot to mention inde navarrette‘s facial expressions that was incredible. the way she would flip a switch like that over and over again getting more unhinged.
i’m such little of a horror guy that the few jump scares there were i jumped lol. that’s the perfect amount i can handle. the hardest watch was definitely the last ten minutes. this has a lot of unsettling moments which is much better. i can’t trust anybody defending bear. more movies should be in this aspect ratio if they know how to use it correctly.
having a 750k budget and making this is super impressive. it’s crazy obsession is on its way to become one of the most profitable films of all time. this is just a jumbled mess, but whatever. i might change this to five stars the more i think about it.
