Cactus Pears

this film felt so real. the cinematography and sound design along w acting was really brilliant. The conversations genuinely felt like it was just a camera in the corner of a real conversation. Like just such subtlety in how they conveyed those family dynamics.  anytime his mum appeared on screen I started crying, I cried through a lot of this film and almost did again through the q&a after…. maybe because the rituals were all so personal and like felt like a slice of home it hit more.
