Sing Sing

this was so moving. finding hope when existing within a system that is working its hardest to keep you without any hope. the conversation between Divine G and Divine Eye about that is going to stay in my mind for a long time. you try and try and try again. finding community and connection and purpose when it’s so impossible. the low res videos from the actual sing sing productions were such a beautiful inclusion. to find out most of the cast is playing themselves and sharing their own story of how being involved in this theatre saved them in this theatrical form. wonderful.
