Drive

Drive is honestly really cool. The vibe carries so much of it, and Ryan Gosling is perfect in the role. He barely says anything but still feels intense, and the way his motives slowly come through is done really well. The supporting characters aren’t bad, they just never feel fully developed and come off a bit shallow. Still, the whole LA night look with those sodium lights just makes everything hit different. The atmosphere alone makes it easy to get into, even if it leaves you wanting a little more.
