After a rewatch, I can see this movie becoming a comfort watch staple. I just enjoy it. The performances are great, and it has all the right kinds of emotions.

My favorite David Lynch film. Just gets better with every watch. Jeffrey turned a found ear into two women saying they love him. SAUCE.

Ethan Hawke was just phenomenal in this role. I’m glad he was nominated for the Academy Award. A strong argument could be made that he should’ve won it. Just as enthralling as the first time I watched it.

AMAZE. AMAZE. AMAZE. I’ll be honest, what I knew about this movie going in didn’t really move me. I’m not the biggest sci-fi adventure fan, and I’m not familiar with the book at all. But, I wasn’t going to let myself miss out on potential greatness, and boy, was that the right decision. This movie RULES. Gosling was great, but if Rocky doesn’t get Best Supporting Actor next Oscar season, I will riot. I give this movie a big 👎🏻. Fist my bump.
