Midnight Mass

Uses rather slow and character driven buildup to establish it‘s horror sub-genre through a religious lens, but rewards with an exciting and epic payoff.  The dialogue is extremely well written, the twists are shocking and when it wants to be it is genuinely scary.  Easily the best horror show I’ve seen.
