"The press was [sic] to serve the governed, not the governors."
I really love how this movie handled its topic about the state of a publication covering a hostile government and president against it. I live in a country in which democracy seems to be in retreat, with government encroachment slowly stymieing their opposition. Also, I just couldn't help but feel represented with this film! >< There was a section of the film when a copyreader proofread an article to be posted within that same hour.
THAT'S WHAT I ALWAYS DO IN MY STUDENT PUBLICATION BODY!! I feel like copyreaders aren't given enough credit for their work, but that's just me.
