I think the film is a perfect representation of how teens in quarantine became really affected by the lack of face to face interaction and used the internet as a way to stay connected with like minded people. And just in general teens using the internet to cope and connect, and how it can affect their already fragile mental states. And how they often turn to niche communities and the people in them for some morsel of support and belonging, like shifting !!
