Soul

Soul is an absolutely perfect movie. The message of this film is brilliant and I love the world building and how it relates to real life. The animation is beautiful and cozy and captures the feel of New York. The humour had me laughing out loud so many times and has a sense of just heartfelt humour which I think we all need. I love the two main characters and the dynamic between the guy that wants to come back to life and the soul that never even wants to exist. The movie makes you think about everything you’re missing in life and that it’s the small things that you should appreciate more instead of living in regret or sadness. I nearly cried in the scene with his mom because I feel so many people relate to that, including me.
