Last time I heard this much talk about docking it was on a different website It’s amazing, I know this film gets glazed a lot but I think it’s deserved. The effects are amazing the story is good, the performances are great and the soundtrack is fucking ethereal. I also just love space stuff so I’m already kinda bought in to it already just because of that. I only don’t like the ending that much, I would’ve been fine with him sacrificing himself at the end rather than just showing up somehow, I think that’s the only part that’s kinda messy for me.

Patrick Bateman would hate Beckett I thought this was entertaining I guess I just wanted more from it. I definitely feel like this could’ve done better as a limited series to really give time to all the characters as the film feels like it bounces around too much sometimes but it’s still entertaining and has great performances by Glen Powell, Margaret Qualley, and Jessica Henwick.

Probably the best teen rom com, all the tropes came from this one. It also still has better themes and moments than other teen rom coms. The way it shows all the different ways love affects people. Also Jon Cryer is great in this and obviously Molly Ringwald is amazing as usual, I also love James Spader as a douchey dickhead and Andrew McCarthy is charming but I really think Harry Dean Stanton stands out with his performance.

This all led to Domingo Whether or not this story is 100% or even 80% accurate doesn’t matter much to me because even if 20% of this film was accurate it still would make for a crazy story and show the complete miracle that this show was and still is. The fact this show even exists and was made by a bunch of struggling comedians in their 20s on the biggest network at that time and is still running 50 years later is insanity. The movie has great performances by everyone. Cory Michael Smith stands out with his Chevy Chase impression and same for Dylan O’Brien and while I feel they may not look exactly like these people in real life they capture their essence really well.
