Dune
An absolute sci-fi masterpiece of the 21st century and one of the best book adaptations I have ever watched.
A brilliant story brought to life by an outstanding cast that never loses momentum, despite its 150-minute runtime. It’s a fantastic introduction to the trilogy. Perhaps I would have been disappointed by the ending if the subsequent installments had never been made, but knowing that the story continues only makes me even more eager to watch the next chapter.
A TECHNICAL MASTERPIECE: exceptional world-building and production design, crafted with incredible attention to every detail, from the vast deserts to the diverse worlds of this galaxy. The visual effects are phenomenal, whether it’s the sandstorms, the gigantic sandworms, or the action sequences. The cinematography is breathtaking and atmospheric, with beautiful use of shadows and a remarkable eye for detail. The editing and sound design are equally outstanding.
And of course, there is Hans Zimmer’s score, which became iconic almost immediately upon the film’s release.
All of this makes Dune an absolutely unforgettable experience for every sci-fi fan and beyond. Any true film lover should appreciate such a feast for the eyes and ears.
I even don’t want to change poster to custom posters from patron because the original one is absolutely wonderful.
Perfection.
