Moonlight

This film brilliantly portrays the problems of lack of acceptance, otherness, loneliness, and the absence of understanding in the modern world, as well as social issues such as violence and addiction in the lowest social classes. A moving and atmospheric piece of cinema (with excellent cinematography and set design perfectly matching the themes and emotions depicted in the film) about the search for one’s true self.
