"Who's your favourite artist?" A dialogue to be remembered for eternity. Just watched this show and I would say, it's amazing as fuck! Every teenager should watch this show because this show is not only unique and explores about interesting themes of pop culture and brutal gore, but also gives a moral lesson to this generation. (You guys need to be 17+ though, because there is a lot of gore and sex scenes). Maximum chances of you getting triggered by the ending are there, because it's extremely bizarre and might be dissatisfactory and clueless for you, but the best conscious decision ever taken by a filmmaker. It still irritates me how people lose their minds over a celebrity and treat you like an alien, if you don't like their favorite pop artist. They become toxic bees and sting you with their harmful stings. And very similar is the case of the people who get murdered by Andrea, all because they didn't like her favorite artist, Ni'Jah. In other words, Donald Glover gives us a glimpse of how losing reality and keeping para-social relationships can lead you to. And I completely relate to this show because I myself am treated like shit even by my own people for not liking their favorite artists, they seriously attack your favorites back, thinking that you would be offended, and they might be thinking to kill me too, I don't have any idea. "You know how many Grammys your favorite artist's got? None. Ni'jah's got 25 Grammys!" "She's an icon. She's a goddess." "She's special." These are the answers you all might have heard from the stans you would have encountered. Each and every episode is a treat, my most favorite being that mockumentary of the black detective: the way it features the real footages of Nicki Minaj, tweets about Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga, all makes it completely realistic and relatable. And the fact that the character Ni'Jah is based on Beyonce and her fans calling themselves "killer bees" just like Beyonce's- seriously, Donald Glover a.k.a. Childish Gambino, you deserve a standing ovation as well as a huge fuckin salute for showing this level of honesty!!!! and to the rest of the crew too!!! Loved this series from the bottom of my heart, literally encouraged me to stay away from those crazy fangirls and also to not reply to their question: "Who's your favorite artist?" Seriously, that shit be creepin me out lol!!
