why are we so SELFISH as to bring a CAT into OUTER FUCKING SPACE??? did nobody consider the MORAL IMPLICATIONS OF THIS?? putting a cat on a ship to space is one thing but BRINGING IT TO A PLANET WITH POTENTIAL ALIEN LIFE FORMS IS ANOTHER. for the ENTIRE duration of this film i was just thinking "SAVE THE FUCKING CAT!!!!!" "WHERE IS THE CAT???" "GO BACK FOR THE CAT!!!!!!!" JONES WAS MORE THAN ENTERTAINMENT. HE WAS A LIFELINE. LEAVE CATS ON EARTH.
