I become slightly obsessed with every new film I watch + I watch edits of them on Instagram afterwards

I could honestly sit here and joke about how horrible the movie turned out to be and how cringe Archie was, but I think the topic is really important to talk about as well. (I was going to write a long ass review but I couldn’t get the words out correctly.)

Not a bad movie but definitely had its flaws. Honestly, if I thought Canadians were like this I’d believe it 100%

This was such a weird yet good movie? It definitely had its moments where it was visually appealing and had crazy scenes but nothing ever stood out to me. It felt sort of predictable towards the ending but did not expect it to turn out like that. Nonetheless, Emma Stone did her job well and Jesse Plemons played Teddy very good and couldn’t imagine who else could play that role.

After watching The Odyssey in IMAX it was such an amazing experience from start to finish. Christopher Nolan has done it again, giving us the story of Odysseus after the Trojan War and his 10-year journey to go back to his home in Ithaca to his wife Penelope and son Telemachus. The story was so emotional with Odysseus’s inner conflict of Man vs Self after the realization of the destruction of the city of Troy and how he was filled with guilt, shame and broke a sacred trust when him and his men opened the gates, betraying the idea of Zeus’s Law. Matt Damon had a HUGE role on his hands and executed it so well. After realizing what I just watched, it makes me want to dive in deeper more into Greek Mythology. (p.s. that cyclops scene was SO fricking loud and unsettling, as well as meeting Circe that turned Odysseus’s men into pigs.)
