SPL: Kill Zone

Admittedly, I love melodrama more than the average gal. And this movie has Sammo Hung in it. Dramatically, a movie about how vendettas will take every last bit of time you have left with your loved ones, leaving nothing behind but regret heaping upon regret that you didn't choose to prioritize them all along. But the real thing this movie is about is Donnie Yen fighting at a really high level, employing techniques from traditional martial arts, MMA, and professional wrestling to try and bring down the unstable kingpin played by Sammo Hung, who himself performed incredibly well at the age of about 52 or 53 while filming this movie. Oh, and also getting to watch SPL 2 afterwards, which I'm going to do immediately after posting this review. "What are you doing, sir? I'll treat you to a candy." alt. quote. "We are no good...no good...Inspector Ma, we've wronged the force. We've wronged Chung. Where is Chung? Where is he?"
