What would happen if modern Gnostic visionary Philip K. Dick wrote Batman: The Animated Series and decided it would have super robots? Something like this show, I think. This thing is structurally and mythically Gnostic in outlook and outcome, which obviously means that I love it. I remembered everyone hating the ending, but to me the only way this show could ever have ended was the revelation of the falseness of the world, the liberation of the divine spark from an imperfect copy, overcoming the ignorance and obscurity of the archons and the demiurge, and the return of Sophia to the pleroma. I mean, holy shit, that's perfect.
