On second watch… Yeah it’s corny. The costuming: cheap. The acting: spotty. The concept: weak and trite. Ohhh baby Nolan flunked out of sophomore English for this pretentious stinker. Maybe he shouldn’t shoot in film; why were random shots with terribly inconsistent color grading? And omg that cinematography, BORING. This is gonna age like milk, nothing like that tacky 2020s obsession with beige, flat, washed-out, neutral mess with complete lack of whimsy or imagination. Justice for the lotus eaters, justice for Nausicaa, damn that Scylla design was boring.

I liked it, however my friend was clicking her heels the whole time trying to get home…
