Thief

I loved this movie so much. Frank is one the coolest characters I’ve seen. Seriously, up there with Man with No Name and Rick Deckard. Mann’s take on a neo-noir/heist film is ridiculously well told on screen, and beautifully shot(those neon signs on the car😎). I was soooo captivated by the plot and James Caan’s vulnerability on display. These together, in a way, subverted the “Fall from grace” trope which provided me with real feeling(that beach scene).   Lastly, that score was truly one of a kind. Haven’t liked a score as much in a while.
