somehow took all the chaos from the first movie and made it even crazier and honestly that’s exactly why i love it so much. this movie is literally just random nonsense happening for almost 2 hours straight and somehow it works perfectly for me. the entire movie feels like pure summer chaos energy. there’s parties, waterparks, fights, random animals showing up everywhere, people screaming every five minutes, and the cast just acting completely insane the whole time. it honestly feels less like a movie and more like watching a group of friends mess around together for fun. i know people always complain that “nothing happens” in this movie but i genuinely don’t care because it’s SO entertaining to watch every scene has something ridiculous happening and the chemistry between the cast still carries the whole thing perfectly. you can tell everyone was genuinely having fun filming it and that’s what makes it enjoyable for me too. also i really loved how Chris rock and Tim meadows used the prince costume at the same time throughout the movie, it was such a random detail but somehow made everything even funnier and more memorable. moments like that are exactly why this movie works for me because it fully embraces being silly and unserious without caring. the deer in the house, the frat party, the bus scene, literally every random interaction between the families. it’s all so fun to watch. honestly this movie just feels comforting to me
