Jumbo
I've been waiting for Jumbo since the teaser dropped and after watching it I absolutely adore this movie. Call me biased but the visual are soo beautiful and i love how instead of fully relying on hyperrealism like what many studios strive, the movie still take many creative liberty such as the 2d part in the beggining, the whole practice montage, and even the visuals of the antaganoist backstory makes the movie feel more creative. The soundtrack is absolutely fantastic and highly enchance each scene. Seriously whoever thought about using electric guitars when we first saw the ghosts is a genius in composing A+. And then there's the character which surprises me at how complex they are and how each of them have their vices and virtues. Each of them has their own backstory yet said past doesn't justify the terrible actions they do to others. My only gripe with the character is probably Mae and how underutilized she is compare to her male counterparts. But other than that I still love each one of them. And then there's the message and wow it's surprisingly heavy hitting. The movie tells us your usual morals, don't ve a jerkhead, friendship is important but then it hits you with the moral that you have to put down your egos at times, that you're not always the center of the attention and instead need to learn to listen to others to create an actual meaningful relationship. This message is very important especially with how self absorbed some people can be. Anyways the movie is good, not perfect but I woukd reccomend this to everyone i know
