Dogtooth
This was the best movie I've ever seen. I didn't know this film was everything I needed. It brought two of the ideas together which I couldn't get out of my head. One is "experimental child raising". I always thought about how would it be if I raised my child in a dark, weird way so that when he/she grows up, he/she becomes a never-seen-before, extremely unique person since there are billions of "normal" people in the world already. The other one is "out of place, abnormal actions in movies". When I watch a film, I sometimes think "how would it be if this character did something very weird and unexpected right now" or "how would it be if the director decides to freeze this shot for literal two minutes". This movie satisfied me a lot because there is nothing normal about it. It is such a unique experience. I am also kind of sad that I couldn't shoot a movie like that myself. Right now there is nothing to do but admire. This is one of a kind.
