Soul
It must be rare to have a first-hand therapeutic experience by watching a movie—in this case, I felt a certain existential heaviness lightening up in my subconscious. I would balance the paranoia of the dissociative mysteries of life by getting absorbed in mundane, earthly routines for grounding—yet Soul might've helped me reprogram the nature of the unknown I had in my head once more. It feels great to be able to surrender yourself to a narrative with total trust and childlike curiosity. It's major for anyone at any given time. Because certain truths and experiences can be taken in with completely unique degrees of depth, and what Soul promises is exactly what I needed. It surely looked like my mom and I got more out of this film than my dad and brother. Definitely so.
