Ray

One of my all time favorie musicians and films. I saw this when I was super young and was instantly hooked. I've watched it idk how many times over this year and this recent rewatch really drove home why I love it so much. The musical moment are amazing. The casting is an all-timer. The way they choose to tell his backstory is creative and really drives home the trauma. Feels like this took the formula of the Musical Biopic and perfected it. Or maybe invented it. I dont think I've seen alot of stuff in this genre from before it came out. Amaedaus and 8 mile are the only two that come to mind. Both Amazing in their own right. I will just never get enough of this. THATS A GOOD MOVIE.
