Perfect Blue

How is this the first time I’m seeing this?  I’m reeling.  Are Mima’s fish like the top in Inception? When they’re dead she’s mirroring and when they’re alive she’s lucid in her reality?  The psychosis of self breaking down as you lose ties to reality under the pressure of success and being seen was just so juicy here.  Maybe Mima and Rumi will work it out in the remix.
