I’m a big PTA fan but the first 2/3rds of this movie was absolutely terrible. These might be the two most unlikable characters in a romance movie ever. This movie could’ve been so good with this story idk why it went in this direction. The ending was nice and cool to see.

Well, that’s just about as good as it gets, folks. Seeing it for the first time in IMAX might’ve swayed me a bit, but this is honestly one of the most incredible movie-watching experiences I’ve ever had — the acting is unreal, Jack Nicholson is on another planet, and Shelley Duvall is amazing. What makes this movie truly terrifying is the sound; the mixing and editing are flawless and it gets under your skin in a way nothing else does. I genuinely don’t have any flaws with this — it’s about as close to a perfect movie as it gets.

Truly an incredible film. If you want a masterclass on pacing this delivers. This is a full on historical part of cinema and truly amazing
