Despite having to watch this for a class, this movie profoundly impacted me.
You’d never guess a biopic on a San Francisco city council member could be so interesting but Milk kept me so engaged the entire time. It’s commentary on the gay rights movement and the issues gay men faced in the 1960s and 1970s was absolutely top tier.
