Hawkeye

Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), introduced in 'Thor' as a SHIELD agent, and later partnered with Natasha Romanoff and Avenger, has always been seen more as a minor character than a main character. His presence always served to drive the development of other characters, and in 'Hawkeye' it's no different. In the series, he will mentor his legacy and promising future for Marvel, Kate Bishop. Marvel spent a lot of time negotiating to ensure that Hailee Steinfeld would play the new heroine of the Cinematic Universe, and the fight was worth it. Kate Bishop was a child when the alien attack on New York took place in 2012. When it was about to be hit, Hawkeye saved the day. From that day on, Kate takes an interest in archery and any other activity that might enable her to protect her mother, after her father died that same day. 10 years later, her path crosses with Clint's and she finally meets her hero. Kate, through Steinfeld's irresistible charisma, can fall in love with anyone. The only mistake I see in ‘Hawkeye‘ is with the Maya arc, known in comics as Echo, which will soon be a solo series. Maybe that's why the production decided not to invest in it, but it was clearly a mistake. Maya is deaf, and when introduced, we see how she handles so that this is not a limitation. She also has a prosthesis in one of her legs and this motivates her to be better than others. All of these elements are introduced very well and then put aside, so the character only serves as a liaison for the seemingly great villain of the series. The main objective of the series is to introduce Kate Bishop and it did it perfectly. In addition to the aforementioned qualities of the actress and character, it is interesting that Kate has already gone through years of training, not having to prove her skill on screen. She just needs to learn what it means to be a hero. And it is even poetic that this lesson comes from someone who does not see himself as such, but who wore the hero costume throughout his life. The series delivers great action moments, spectacular photography and a soundtrack that complements the surrounding environment very well. 'Hawkeye' was a big surprise and I can't wait to see more of Kate Bishop in the future of Marvel's Cinematic Universe.
