The Thing

One of my all-time favorites. Happy to report it still holds up. Even after three viewings, the practical effects never fail to get a visceral reaction out of me. Carpenter’s direction, Bill Lancaster’s screenplay, Morricone’s score, and the performances are all absolutely sublime. An untouchable and inimitable masterpiece.
