Sinners
Very deep parallels from a vampire movie. Ignoring everything about the horror aspect, this was a beautiful piece for music and the culture and wonders of black history. The aspect of feeling free merely for a few hours, yet it being the greatest day of their lives hits impeccably hard. The beauty of history being portrayed to a modern audience, we can view such a tragedy that occurred not too long ago. I really didn’t care that this was a vampire movie, but Ryan Coogler was able to cater to all types of people so even if they don’t understand any black culture or history they can still be immersed in a beautifully told story. The cast was all phenomenal and everything was well written and the story was woven in a very unique way.
