i feel like i wasn’t in the right mind frame for this but if i were i would have really really loved it. i’ll have to watch it again. what a gorgeous movie though, it makes me want to go on a road trip through 80s america. what a beautiful ending too

devastating. the scene of the audience holding their hands out to the actor at the end of the play. the mirrored scenes of hamnet turning around mirroring. no words to describe how this made me feel. and that score at the end of the film. just gut wrenching

so beautifully nostalgic. this movie makes me want to fall in love with someone who is older than me...... so so so gorgeously shot too, ive never appreciated the beauty of this film

i could watch this movies over and over again and never get tired. infact, thats what i have done since 8 years old. the set design, world building, costumes, music, puppets, absolutely everything about this movie is amazing. my favourite little thing is the glitter and sparkles in the spiderwebs. so magical and nostalgic
