Pitch Perfect
I don’t care what anyone says this movie is perfect.
Great casting, great characters, and most of all great music.
I love this film so much. Rebel Wilson is an Australian icon and I couldn’t see anyone else as Fat Amy.
I don’t know what the consensus is on Pitch Perfect but if this movie is on, I’m sitting my ass down and watching it. (And singing along to the music)
I love the beef between The Treblemakers and The Bella’s. A Cappella definitely feels this serious to people involved.
When I try to think of what more I could possibly ask of this film I come up short. Heated rivalry, Romeo and Juliet esque romance, synchronised lady dancing to chart toppers, and there is character progression. Like real character progression for multiple people. You really feel like you’re part of the Barden Bella’s and I think for any movie to do that, make you feel that way is very admirable. People say Bridesmaid’s is the best female ensemble comedy film but Pitch Perfect fucking blows it out of the water and it’s not even close.
Classic Riff-Off scene can’t get enough of it. I’m glad they keep it for the other films.
If you don’t like Pitch Perfect that’s on you. Even if you don’t particularly like musicals I would still check it out.
