watched in class with a short q&a from the queer east curator afterwards. really heartbreaking and beautiful even if parts linger a little awkwardly and don't quite fit together. i remember at times i had slight value judgements on my idea of the quality of the music, culture, etc available to these people, and then remembering that when viewing the world through their eyes this must be the most recognised and understood they've ever felt in a room. beautiful.
