its a cool concept and the acting and soundtrack are phenomenal, jordan peele is one of the best directors rn, but i think this movies biggest problem is how much it overexplains itself. instead of making things more interesting, it ends up creating a bunch of plot holes that are hard to ignore. i really liked the plot twist, but i think it actually weakens the big monologue because a lot of what gets explained doesnt really line up anymore. it also leaves even more questions unanswered, which is weird because the movie spends so much time trying to explain everything in the first place.

couldve been way shorter, a lot of unexplained red herrings, im just like that girl shes in for a ride in that episode shes about to watch this as obamas first film is crazy

the toy story movies were always my go to films as a kid, this movie brought me back and it still had that touch, really enjoyed it, pixar surprised me with this one

i was expecting a little more, missed a part of the movie so i will rewatch, but i did like the camera work and atmosphere. to me it felt a little long in the middle and some parts dragged more than i expected, but i did enjoy the ending though, it was easily the best part of the movie for me. still felt a little short for an a24 film and i wanted a bit more from some of the ideas it was setting up. director definitely has a lot of potential though, its so cool what he can pull off with such little budget, and i cant wait to see whats next for him. definitely interested in seeing where his career goes after this.
