instant classic ryan coogler is a visionary director and deserves best director. i love how movies themes of the need for black spaces play out and how the vampires function as culture vultures seeking to strip black culture of its identity/soul while also being stripped of their irish heritage. also i love the ultimate ending for the main three characters and how power, music, and spirituality play a part within it. and that one sequence is definitely in the books.
